The Clermont-Limagne Biopole, specialized in bio-industry

The Biopole is a leading european technology parks dedicated to the activities of bio-industry. It is dedicated to support bio-entrepreneurs by offering a complete range of tools: incubation, entertainment, accommodation, finance, communication networks.

The Biopole offers 30,000 m² of real estate solutions divided between 3 locations. Right by the A71 motorway towards Paris, all three locations are close to the international airport and the main centres of research in the Clermont area.

Saint-Beauzire site

Business incubator : particularly well suited to the initial years of business operation, the incubator offers bio industry entrepreneurs 1,500 m² divided into modules equipped with clean rooms, work benches, P2 laboratories etc.

Business accelerator : two rental units offer 4,000 m² divided into more spacious laboratory units, intended for growing businesses.

Services : the Saint-Beauzire site has offices for service and consultancy companies. In particular, there is a 600 m² building dedicated to service providers.

The Biopole offers also land for sale.

In 2013, the Saint-Beauzire site will have shared restaurant and nursery.

Riom site

The site offers facilities designed for clinical/health development activities

Laboratories : 1,500 m² are divided into 7 laboratory modules which can be combined as desired, equipped with work benches, fume cupboards, cold rooms and offices.

Technical equipments : 2 phytotrons and 2 culture rooms

Offices : some fifteen offices and three meeting rooms in shared use

The Bioparc of Vichy specialized in Health - Beauty - Fitness

The Bioparc of Vichy is located 10 minutes from the Vichy-Charmeil Airfield, 45 minutes from the international airport of Clermont-Ferrand and 20 min of highway interchanges of Thiers and Gannat.

In 2000, the Bioparc has been labeled "Qualiparc". Ultimately, its total area wil be 45 hectares.

The Bioparc now includes direct and indirect trades sectors Health - Beauty - Fitness, the Biomedical, Food, Health, Environment.

It provides a network of business skills, support structures and contacts with academia and research centers.

All forms of leasing and acquisition are possible in the Bioparc. Specific support for each project is set up. As soon as requested, partners Bioparc analyze your specifications and develop your investment project as soon as possible. Technical assistance in the establishment is free. It naturally includes the records of financial aid.

The Naturopole of Gannat, specialized in preventive health

The Naturopole is located in the Allier, a few miles from the A71 towards Paris.

It includes more than 200 people in the fields of innovation, development, production, packaging and logistics.

By working in micro-cluster, the Naturopole offers global sourcing and specific solution to the health, from ingredients of plant origin, on behalf of national and international clients in the pharmaceutical industry, cosmetics, health food and dietary supplement.

As part of the new labeling "Rural Center of Excellence", several actions for positive impact on the environment have been done : energy from by-products of the area via a biomass boiler to power companies in the biopark, co-promotion of short circuits, implementation of a local industry upgrading plant species interesting in terms of health and environment, sharing of the logistic function to limit the physical flows and improve the balance carbon.

Laboratory research and development

The laboratory is located Veyre-Monton, near Clermont-Ferrand. With feature glazing and of metal structure construction, the facility provides around 750m² of usable space split over 2 equal floors (garden level and upper floor). It also offers a large car park. It can accommodate several competitiveness clusters, thanks to benches, fume cupboards (fume hoods), animal units, an official approval for the use of radioactive elements and so on.
