The Auvergne in Liaoning

The business delegation conducted from November 30 to December 5, 2011 by BERKANI Hamid, Chairman of the Regional Agency for Economic Development, and composed of four small Auvergne, returns from his trip to the Chinese province of Liaoning with trade agreements and partnership projects.

This business was part of economic cooperation led by the Auvergne region with Liaoning Province, aiming to conquer market share in China. For three days, every business has benefited from a program qualified appointments arranged by the representative of the Auvergne region in Liaoning. Companies have been lodged with the highest authorities of the Province and take advantage of this recommendation in the meetings held.

Contracts and projects

The balance sheet for the four participating companies exceeds the original goals, some companies back in the Auvergne with the trade agreements:

- DrivTech (specializes in the design and manufacture of tools for measuring and control optimization for reducing greenhouse gas emissions) has signed an initial contract to market its product DrivEco a fleet of forty bus Shenyang.

- Dufournier Technologies (consulting firm specializing in automotive engineering) is negotiating with the Chinese carmaker Brilliance (in joint venture with BMW) to provide engineering services. A partnership agreement between the two companies could be finalized in the coming months.

- Marquage Moderne (specialist in high-tech industrial marking) has initiated preliminary discussions with major companies (Siemens, AVIC, Michelin) looking plates with specific labeling techniques unavailable in China.

- Sol Solution (consulting firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, geology and geophysics) spoke of large-scale projects, including the fourth national construction company, a company in charge of subway construction in Shenyang (the capital of Liaoning) but also with the Bureau of Construction of the City of Anshan, growing city whose projects are in the size of China ...

 

Cooperation Auvergne / Liaoning therefore a reality of real business opportunities for SMEs Auvergne. Initiated in 2005, the economic dimension of this cooperation was strongly reinforced in 2010 by signing a partnership agreement between ARDE Auvergne and the Provincial Office of SMEs.
